Dayna Meier is a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor, and owner of Sage Earth Acupuncture.
Dayna began studying Acupuncture meridians in 2006 with a course in Acupressure while attending University. During that year, she realized that Acupuncture was the holistic health care that she wanted to study and practice. She enrolled in the four year program at CCTCMA where she became a Registered Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her education was concluded by a 7 week practicum in Beijing, China. She immediately applied her knowledge and skills in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal with a volunteer acupuncture program, treating up to 20 patients per day, 6 days a week. Returning to Canada, Dayna practiced at a fast paced integrative clinic in Yorkton, SK. She returned to her hometown of Saskatoon in 2012 to set up a practice.
Passionate about Women's Health and Wellness, Dayna dedicates many hours to Fertility, Pregnancy, and Women's Health and has passed an exam to become a fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. She also enjoys learning about other health and wellness modalities and has completed Labour Doula program through Birth Rhythms, Reiki level 1, and Life Balance training through Balance Within.
When Dayna is not seeing clients you can find her exploring the riverbanks of Saskatoon with her dog Maggie, creating healthy meals at home, attending workshops of all kinds, and enjoying all that Saskatoon has to offer.
"I feel that Acupuncture and TCM is an important tool for health in our ever changing society. Although the medicine is very old, it sheds new light on many health conditions and concerns. From the common cold to autoimmune disease, this Eastern medicine is earning a reputation in the Western world. I am delighted to be practicing this wonderful approach to healing."
